As the 2nd Future Sky Safety Internal Workshop approaches, also P7 has developed a poster to share with the whole Consortium the results the project obtained.
Project #7 will present the tests results obtained by Výzkumný a zkušební letecký ústav (VZLU) in 2017 with geopolymer based carbon fiber composites. These tests concern:
- Smoke optical density and fire effluents of carbon fiber/geopolymer composite compared with referential glass fiber/phenol composite,
- Fire penetration tests of carbon fiber/geopolymer sandwich structures,
- Impact tests of carbon fiber/geopolymer sandwich structures, and
- Drum peel tests of carbon fiber/geopolymer sandwich structures.
