Future Sky Safety officially started

Future Sky Safety project has officially started on the 1st of January 2015. The kick-off meeting was held in Amsterdam and was kindly hosted by NLR.

The event gave the participants the opportunity to meet and introduce themselves, also providing a global overview of the Programme‘s objectives and initial activities.

Future Sky Safety is an EU-funded Joint Research Program that brings together 33 European partners to develop new tools and new approaches to aeronautics safety. It is designed with safety improvement as the specific purpose, not only a secondary benefit, of its research. The Programme will also help coordinate the research and innovation agendas of several countries and institutions, as well as create synergies with other EU initiatives in the field (e.g. SESAR, Clean Sky 2).
